This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Hashqix Service. It is incorporated into our Terms of Use by reference and applies in addition to (not in lieu of) the terms of any third-party AI provider routed through Hashqix, each of which has its own usage policies.
1. Prohibited Content & Activities
You must not use the Service to generate, upload, store, share, or transmit content or behavior in any of the following categories:
1.1. Illegal & harmful content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content sexualizing minors in any form. We will report and preserve evidence per US 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- Threats of violence, terrorism, incitement, or content celebrating mass-casualty events.
- Doxxing, harassment, stalking, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Content that violates the laws of the user’s jurisdiction or that of Hashqix (United States).
1.2. Regulated-services impersonation
Do not use the Service to deliver legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice as if from a licensed professional. AI agents may provide general information; they may not be marketed as substitutes for licensed counsel.
1.3. Sanctioned-jurisdiction use
Use of the Service is prohibited from US-sanctioned jurisdictions and by anyone listed on the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. See Terms of Use § 12.
1.4. Copyright infringement
Do not upload third-party copyrighted material into prompts unless you own the copyright or have a valid license. Repeat-infringer accounts are terminated under our DMCA Policy.
1.5. Scraping, distillation, & competitive use
Do not use the Service to extract Outputs at scale for use in training, fine-tuning, or distilling competing AI models. Do not circumvent rate limits, scrape canvas state, or attempt to reverse-engineer model behavior. See Terms § 3.1.
1.6. Election & political microtargeting
Do not use the Service to generate political advertising aimed at specific US-state or EU-member-state electoral districts, or to impersonate candidates, officials, or election authorities. Generated content depicting public figures must be clearly labeled as AI-generated.
1.7. Malware, exploits, & cyberattack tooling
Do not use the Service to generate, host, or distribute malware, ransomware, exploit code, phishing kits, or instructions for attacking computer systems you are not authorized to test.
1.8. Spam & deceptive marketing
Do not use the Service to generate or distribute unsolicited commercial email (CAN-SPAM violations), SMS spam (TCPA violations), or content that impersonates other businesses, brands, or individuals to deceive recipients.
1.9. Synthetic-media / deepfake misuse
Do not use AI-generated images, video, or audio to depict real, identifiable individuals in misleading or defamatory contexts without consent. When redistributing AI-generated likenesses, comply with applicable disclosure laws (US: California, Tennessee, Texas; EU: AI Act Art. 50).
2. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with: (a) a description of the violating content or activity; (b) URLs or account identifiers if known; (c) the relevant AUP section; (d) your contact information. We acknowledge reports within 24 business hours and act expeditiously where the violation is verified. EU users may use the same channel for DSA Art. 16 illegal-content notices.
3. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in any combination of the following, at our sole discretion and proportional to severity:
- Removal of the offending content or output.
- Temporary suspension of access pending review.
- Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations.
- Forfeiture of pre-paid credits (no refund) per Terms § 4.3.
- Reporting to law enforcement, payment processors, or regulators where required by law (e.g., NCMEC for CSAM under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
4. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action against your account was taken in error, you may appeal to [email protected] within 30 days. We will respond within 10 business days for non-criminal categories. Appeals for terminations related to CSAM, terrorism, or sanctions-list use are not entertained.
5. Changes
Material changes to this AUP take effect 30 days after publication. Non-material updates (clarifications, typos) take effect immediately. Continuing to use the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
